CS' Summer Fun Gel Liner is similar to Rubenesque because I bought it, and it better be, aaaand I got the 10 slot Zipper case for my make-up brushes. I really dislike squishing my make-up brushes with my hair products, I'm too lazy to tape the edges because I'm not swinging my bag around and the trip to my house isn't that long, but there's always a chance something will spill out, like, it's not a big deal, I could wash them, but the bigger brushes take like a day and a half to two days to fully dry and I'd rather just not have anything be spilt on anything else. The supposed dupe for Rubenesque is Coastal Scents' Gel Liner in Summer Fun. I'm going to try that out, it's only about 8 bucks including shipping and even though it's a gel liner, I'm just going to use it as a pretty base and on its own.

TIP: Sometimes the CS gel liners dry out fast, a good way is to get extra virgin olive oil, put a few drops in and let it sink in over night. This might be a bit of work, but it comes with a lot and you don't need much for application.

Had the flu and missed school for a week and Halloween and I'm behind on my projects at school and I have an Arky midterm this week as well as another midterm next Tuesday...fml, so busy.

Good news: a month and two weeks left of school and I have my classes for next term picked out, so stoked for them, although I will have to write 3 art related essays I don't care too much because Experimental film sounds really interesting,hopefully will get Leslie Dawn for a class, Art Now is just an hr lecture class where an artist comes in to talk, for Intro to Animal Behaviour AJ is offering me her textbook and Intro to World Religions sounds really sweet and not crazy hard because it's in a humongous classroom.

Once this term is over I can chill at home for two weeks and hang out with the bf and friends :)

Bad news: all of that has to wait until I go through this hellish nightmare of public speaking and figuring out what my studio project is all about and how I'm going to pass Media Arts and Arky.
Aand I'm procrastinating right now when I should be doing my work...Fuuuuck, I'm stupid.



I recently switched to Firefox and I always wondered how Mac users got they're computer to do spell check, now I know the secret. I want a Mac, I could have been working on that media project if I did and would be able to impress the teacher with my skills. I'm a failure to society pretty much.

I'd say from the looks of it, they're cheap for the amount and pigmentation without you having to buy upscale products me thinks. Like elf has cheap mineral eye shadows but they're way too sheer/shimmery, and these ones are pree intense, don't forget to apply some eye primer too!

Finally!

My elf stuff arrived yesterday, so stoked on it, tried the Butternut eyeshadow and the eyeshadow brushes and created my first successful smokey eye, wearing it right now, feel so good...hahah and the other eyeshadows didnt really show on my skin too much. Everything else that I got was really good, except that i havent tried the nail polish yet, but i think i'll do that tonight right after my shower, which is right now hahah

So, I went to a wicked house party last night with my friend, and I told Mr. H. and he said that I had to text him the entire night, and I was okay, I'll try. I didn't think he'd expect me to type sentences and give him a play by play of what's going on, especially since I was getting pretty drunk as the night wore on. He said he was pretty mad when at one point I just kept texting back 'Idunno' because at least that made more sense than txting random shit that doesn't make any sense when read due to me having to press buttons 2 or 3 times to get to that specific letter. Geesh, so usually when I go out, I don't bring my phone and text him, or when I'm also hanging out with my friends, I get how that can be annoying, but come on! I was drunk, my fingers don't function as well as when I'm sober, so I just wish he didn't expect so much from me.

P.S.: I touched some dudes beard for half an hour pretty much.

So, I ordered my ELF make-up today, they haven't accepted my paypal yet, but I'm hoping it will be soon. I made the address my friend's address, and it says unverified so I'll probably have to wait for that to confirm...or it'll confirm when they send it, idunno, paypal doesnt explain it well enough for me to understand.

If you haven't heard, ELF (eyes lips face) is a super affordable make-up brand, Youtube some videos to catch up if you like, I ordered 16 items, hahah, both from the original line and their "Studio" line. I really wanted the Complexion Perfector, but they were out. So I ordered the eye transformer instead, which is supposedly suppose to make your huey eyeshadows go all opalescent on you. I just ordered stuff for on the face business I'm set for a while with my MAC concealer which works amazingly and Chanel liquid foundation-$60, which once thats gone I will try the MAC liquid foundation 'cause my sister said it works really well and is half the cost of the Chanel.

I really hope my order gets processed soon, most people have said that it takes about 2-4 weeks for a shipment to be received, I hope I'm one of the lucky 2 weekers hahahah, but it'll be worth it if it does take a month and I'll have new make-up for the next school term!
